Fidu Properties
We collect personal information when you enquire about a property, request a valuation, or subscribe to our newsletter. This sets out what we hold, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Your name, phone number and email address, when you send us an enquiry, ask for a valuation, or contact us about a property. We hold these in the system our sales team uses to manage client conversations, so that someone can answer you.
Your email address, and your name if you give it. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link.
Several pages link to WhatsApp with a message already written, naming the property you were looking at. Send it and the conversation happens on WhatsApp under their privacy terms, not ours. We read and answer those messages the way we answer any other enquiry.
We use analytics software to see which pages get read and how long people stay. It reports patterns rather than individuals, though it does involve cookies and your IP address.
Software that watches traffic for attacks logs IP addresses and request details. We use that record for security and nothing else.
No bank details, no passport or Emirates ID numbers, no financial account information through any form on this website. If you hand such documents to an agent during a transaction, that belongs to the deal itself, not to this site.
We answer your enquiry and provide the service you asked for. We send you the newsletter if you subscribed. We look at how the site is used and improve the parts that need it. We keep our systems secure.
We do not sell your personal data. If we ever want to use your enquiry details for something unrelated to why you contacted us, we will ask you first.
Our enquiry records sit with the service provider that runs our client management system, which stores and organises them for us under contract. Our analytics provider receives site usage data under its own terms.
Your contact details do not go to property developers, other agencies, or anyone else for their own marketing. Not without you agreeing to it.
We will disclose information where UAE law or a valid legal request requires it.
Cookies keep the site working, feed our analytics, and remember your language if you switch it. Your browser settings control them. Turn them off and parts of the site will stop behaving as intended.
We hold your information for as long as we need it to provide what you asked for, keep our business records, and satisfy legal and regulatory obligations. Ask us to delete it and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, and under GDPR if you are in the EU or UK, you can ask us to:
Write to us using the details below and we will respond. If you are unsatisfied with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office, or to your national data protection authority if you are in the EU or UK.
The site runs over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it, and monitoring software watches for attacks.
No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can say is that we protect your information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity, and we will tell you if something goes wrong in a way that affects you.
